Alexander Sheldon

Chair

Alexander Sheldon is the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) Student Branch Chair and the Vice Chair of the IEEE Southern Alberta Section (SAS) Solid State Circuits and Circuits and Systems (SSCS/CAS) Joint Technical Chapter. He has been an IEEE volunteer since September 2018. Alexander is currently pursuing his PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of Calgary and has received his BSc from the University of Calgary in 2016. His research interests include Cryogenically- Cooled Electronics, Astronomy Instrumentation, and Analog/RF Integrated Circuits. He holds an Advanced Amateur Radio License with the callsign VA6-ALX.
